Matrakchi tells Bali Bey,
that he (bali bey) pushed Mihrimah Sultan to marry to Rustem ...that because Rustem
knows her feelings for him (Bali Bey), he is not going to leave him calm. Bali Bey
tells him that since this marriage was Hurrem Sultan's wish, it should be done definitely.
Mihrimah asks help from Mehmet, who wonders seeing her crying. She
says she does not want this marriage and that it was a decision of anger.
Mehmet wonders and asks her with whom she gets angry. He says that nothing
can be changed, once the decisions of his sultan are written down. Sheikh Mashuki continues the wrong teaches of Islam and Janissaries arrest him and throw him in the prison.
Mah e dora learns about Mihrimah's marriage and informs Mustafa. Yahya says
that Mihrimah would accept this marriage only under force. They realize that it is
Hurrem's plan in order to get Rustem into the Council, so she can get rid of Lutfu pasha and later can turn against Mustafa. Mah e dora says they must get rid of Rustem
and when Mustafa stares her, she says it is not necessary to kill him. Shah reads mah e dora's letter in which she describes her plan and Lutfu pasha considers not
necessary to do anything since he is the head of the Council. Khazeena believes that they should not leave it to chance and Shah is satisfied about Mah e dora's plan. Mihrimah goes to her mother's room and asks her not to marry with Rustem.
Hurrem reminds her what she had said when Mihrimah was a little girl: that,
Mihrimah was born as a Sultana and can do things that a slave cannot do...that
her feeling will soon be changed, since everything is done for their own good.
When Mihrimah seems offended, Hurrem says that after she says that she has to
marry .... then she will marry...in this way, Mihrimah declares her devotion to her
mother and dedication is more important than love. Lutfu pasha informs Sultan that
he had news that Rustem has leprosy ( A disease ). Nigar tells Rustem, that even if he marries
Mihrimah, he will know that her heart will always beat for Bali Bey. Rustem agry
after slapping her , tries to strangle her but olivia comes & stops him. Suleiman informs Hurrem about
Rustem's illness and Hurrem says that many people hate him and all these are
rumors. Suleiman furious with her calm, tells her that this is the future of his
daughter. Husrev pasha and khazeena's children have fan and talk and khazeena tells him that
he will never replace their father. Husrev pasha says he is not a prisoner and the only
thing he would like is a smile or a look of her and then leaves. Shah tells Suleiman
that she is concerned about Mihrimah and Suleiman says he does not know
anything yet. Gulfem tells to Mihrimah about Rustem's illness..& mihrimah smiles ..
Hurrem learns that
Shah is with Suleiman and goes to his room. She says that all these are rumors,
causing Suleiman's discomfort. When Suleiman says to stop the preparations,
Hurrem recommends to send the doctor to examine Rustem.. Hasena khatun comes in lutfu pasha's room & gives him a glass of water & she keeps staring at him...At that moment Shah sultan arrives at her palace .
