Tomaso asks Bali bey to help him and offers him a reward. Bali bey is being offended and
answers that only Sultan has the right to decide for peace or war and that he
will never attempt to influence him. In the room enters Sylvia ,Tomaso's niece & an "intimate" old acquaintance of Bali bey & he is pleased to see her . When Bali bey leaves, Tomaso asks Sylvia’s help
and Sylvia tells him not to worry. Rustem gets a letter from Hurrem ,who informs
him that Lutfu pasha is now Grand Vizier and controls the council. His marriage with Mihrimah must take place soon, in order him to join the council. She adds that their enemies are trying to prevent the marriage, so he must be very careful, as
they certainly will try to kill him. Nigar irritates Rustem, saying him that Shah Sultan
will never allow the marriage with Mihrimah to be happened. Sumbul agha presents
Hurrem a concubine who will undertake to seduce Lutfu Pasha. Khazeena leaves for her
new palace , saying to Shah that she might managed to make Lutfu pasha a Vizier,but he
can never be like her "IBRAHIM"!!!
Suleiman frets when Hurrem speaks for Shehzade Mustafa.
Hurrem does not stop but continues saying that the Janissaries are very fond of Shehzade Mustafa. Suleiman interrupts her saying that, While he is alive, he will not allow
any of their prince to behave boldly towards him..he lifts Hurrem's chin, forcing
her to look at him. Shehzade Mustafa arrives in Bursa and Suleiman does not allowed to kiss
his hand. On the way, Sultan speaks with Mehmet and Mustafa follows them,
feeling that his father punishes them, as he doesn't even look at him as he says to
Husrev Pasha. Suleiman sees his sons talking and remembers Ibrahim's support
to Mustafa. He also remembers Ibrahim's consideration to advice Mustafa and Sultan asked him who is Mustafa's father. Suleyman tells his sons the story of
their ancestors. He narrates the war of his father sultan Selim with his brother Korkut
and their father Beyazid...Mustafa listens in a state of shock as he realizes that
his father is suspected him of treason. Later Yahya suggests him to speak personally to
his father and explain him the actual situation.
