Episode 278-
Khizar raees promises to try to solve the problems, but asks Shehzade Mustafa to be
careful because the enemies will try to take advantage & he should listen to his father. Hurrem learns that
Suleiman reached Adrianople and she happily runs in the room he waits for her.
Suleiman just seeing her, gets upset but tries to be indifferent. Hurrem comes
close to him and asks him to kiss his hand. On his asking why she disobeyed the
command and did not leave the palace, Hurrem replies that she did not leave for
the same reason that he went to this palace. FOR LOVE ......Merjan agha informs Shah
that Sultan left the palace and everyone understands that he went to
Adrianople. Hurem embraces Suleiman and tells him how he missed her. Seeing
his indifference, she kneels in front of him and asks him to forgive her. Suleiman
surrenders. .He gets her up and tells her how much he loves her with a poem ...
putting his hand on her waist and pulling her on him & kisses her..Next day Hurrem returns to the palace and learns from Shah Sultan
that Ayas Pasha died due to vital infection and her (shah's) husband Lutfu pasha is the new Grand Vizier of this empire now , Hürrem is shocked!!
Later Hurren meets Suleyman ,in the balcony. Sultan is upset by the death of Ayaz pasha. Hurrem tells him that a lot of people loved him , but there are some who felt happy with his death. Suleyman informs her that he appointed Lutfu pasha on his position, who he considers as a trustful person. Lutfu pasha arrives at the palace and tells Shah that he became grand Vizier, and adds that the empire had many viziers, in the past who weren’t the appropriate ones, as Ibrahim, but now everything is going to change. Shah remindes him that he owes his promotion to her. She adds that the only thing they should care about is Hurrem who has returned even stronger ,and that they should prevent Mihrimah from marrying Rustem. Hurrem says to Suleyman that the marriage between Mihrimah and Rustem is being discussed in the harem. Suleyman tells her about the proposal Ayaz pasha had made, just before he died, when he suggested Rustem as a husband for Mihrimah. Hurrem says that she is surprised by this proposal, but believes that Mihrimah is in the right age for marriage and Rustem seems to match with her. Suleyman replies that he has the same thoughts with her, about this matter, but Mihrimah is opposed to this marriage, so he will also not agree, since Mihrimah, who is his favorite, doesn’t want it. Hurrem looks at suleiman
full of disappointment..
Khazeena tells Shah that she believed they have got rid of Hurrem ,
but she failed. Shah reminds her that she should go to her new palace and khazeena
laughs ironically. She tells her that she didn’t expect to reach to the point of
being thrown out of her own house. She accuses Shah that she planned all this,as
also the promotion of Lutfu pasha. Hurrem takes dinner together with her children, who
are being wondered why she stayed in Adrianople. Hurrem answers that this isn’t
important anymore. When Mihrimah,feeling sad,asks her permission to return in
her apartment, Hurrem denies. Suleyman, full of sorrow hears that 5,000 people
have died by the plague, and many more who have been infected. Suleyman is
being visited by khizar raees, who informs him about the letter Shehzade Mustafa had sent
him ,but never reached in his hands. He gives him a copy of that letter. Suleyman
asks Bali bey , to find out what happened and the letter never reached him and punish those who are responsible..
In Manisa yahya & mustafa wait to receive news from
Khair raees and Yahya is worried. He assumes that Sultan must have gotten
angry and Shehzade Mustafa answers that he wants to become like his father, and shake
the world. He adds that this can’t be done if he doesn’t act and just stays in
palace. Khizar raees further informs Sultan that the ship construction was made by Shehzade Mustafa not for personal benefit, but for strengthening the Ottoman fleet, as they
have to cope with pirates. Lutfu pasha praises Shehzade Mustafa,by saying that he is worthy son
of his father. When Sultan hears that Mustafa came out to the sea, by ship,in
order to save a child who was captured by the pirates, he gets furious. He shouts
that this is unacceptable and wonders how a prince put his life in such a danger..sumbul agha is secretly listening to their conversation ..
