Rules for Marking
It should be clear that your assignment would not get any credit if:

• The assignment is submitted after due date.
• The submitted assignment does not open or file is corrupt.
• The assignment is copied. Note that strict action would be taken if the submitted assignment is copied from internet or any other source.

1)      You should consult recommended books to clarify your concepts as handouts are not sufficient.
2)      You are supposed to submit your assignment in .doc format. Any other formats like scan images, PDF, Zip, rar, bmp, docx etc will not be accepted
3)      You are advised to upload your assignment at least two days before Due date.
4)      This assignment file comprises of Seven (3) pages.
5)      Assignment is non graded and will not contribute any marks in final grades

Important Note: 

Assignment comprises of 20 Marks. Note that no assignment will be accepted after due date via email in any case (whether it is the case of load shedding or emergency electric failure or internet malfunctioning etc.). Hence, refrain from uploading assignment in the last hour of the deadline, and try to upload Solutions at least 02 days before the deadline to avoid inconvenience later on.

VUScholarship Management system

VUScholarship is a financial grant database for students from all areas of Pakistan. We will secure all corners of the country to locate awards that will design to assist students who want to gain financial add/grant regarding higher education and professional degrees.
Our system will mainly manage two types of scholarship:

1. Scholarship for different universities within Pakistan.
2. Scholarship for different universities abroad Pakistan.

The whole scenario/procedure will be as follows:
The applicant will first apply for membership of the system by entering his/her information. When he/she becomes a member of our system, he/ she would be able to view different scholarships available currently.

After choosing scholarship type (within Pakistan or abroad the country), he/she will have to fill a form by entering detail information (Personal, academics, publications etc), name of country in case of foreign scholarship and name of his / her proposed adviser in the concern department. The applicant must submit the filled application form along with his / her research proposal. VUScholarship system will check the eligibility of the applicant for the applied scholarship and if found eligible our system will transfer the application to the concerned department of the chosen university. 
The adviser will review his / her research proposal, and will take one of the two actions.

1. Accepts research proposal and send it to the  admission committee
2. Proposed certain changes to be made in research proposal.

In case, faculty advisor accepts the proposal, he will send letter of support to the applicant and to the admission committee, if it is not the case the applicant will update his / her proposal and will send the updated proposal again to the faculty advisor.
The committee then accepts or rejects the admission and informs the applicant about his status.
